About the Miami Host Committee
The Miami FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Committee is the official local organizing body charged with delivering on Miami-Dade County’s Host City Agreement with FIFA. Our mission is to showcase Miami to the world, deliver a world-class experience for fans, and create a lasting legacy for our community.
Location: Coral Gables, FL (In-office position)
Term: Project-based, through July 2026. Term may be extended monthly, if needed.
Job Summary:
The Director of Partnerships will play a leading role in shaping, securing, and managing strategic commercial partnerships that contribute to the mission and financial success of the Miami Host Committee. This is a high-impact position for a driven and collaborative executive who thrives at the intersection of business development, relationship management, and event marketing.
The position will report to the President and CEO through the Vice President of Commercial Development to execute the partnership strategy, deliver outstanding sponsor value, and ensure alignment with both FIFA and local stakeholder expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Lead the identification, outreach, negotiation, and activation of strategic partnerships
across key industry verticals.
· Build and manage relationships with local, national, and global brands to secure financial and in-kind contributions to the Miami Host Committee.
· Serve as the commercial lead for marquee and large-scale partner activations, overseeing end-to-end execution and managing all contractual deliverables for major events, public installations, and multi-location experiences.
· Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, community engagement, and event operations teams to develop integrated partner programs.
· Oversee contractual obligations and ensure timely and creative delivery of sponsor assets.
· Provide ongoing reporting and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders on partnership performance and milestones.
· Represent the Miami Host Committee in external meetings, presentations, and high-level events as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in assessing the financial impacts of proposed partnerships.
· Passion for sport, community impact, and collaborative leadership.
· Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
· Professional and tactful interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities.
· Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks or related software.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Education and Experience:
7+ years of experience in sponsorship, brand partnerships, business development, or
sports marketing. Proven track record of closing and managing high-value partnerships. Experience working with major events, rights holders, or international properties and knowledge of the South Florida market and cultural landscape is preferred.

The Coordinator of Partnership Activation will be responsible for supporting the execution of partner activation programs that deliver meaningful value to sponsors and align with the Miami Host Committee’s strategic objectives. This role is ideal for a highly organized, collaborative professional with experience bringing sponsorship agreements to life through thoughtful planning, cross-functional coordination, and flawless execution.
The position will report to the President and CEO through the Chief Commercial Officer and the Director of Partnerships, and will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all partnership obligations are fulfilled in accordance with FIFA guidelines and local stakeholder expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the day-to-day execution and activation of commercial partnerships across multiple industry verticals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring clear communication and strong working relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, community engagement, and event operations teams to deliver integrated partner activations and experiences.
• Coordinate the fulfillment of contractual sponsor assets, including signage, events, digital integrations, and hospitality elements.
• Track activation timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget execution.
• Support partnership reporting by gathering data, documenting activation outcomes, and providing insights on performance.
• Assist with partner meetings, presentations, and on-site activation support during events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Passion for sports, live events, and creating impactful brand experiences.
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM or project management tools such as Monday.com is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sponsorships and partnership activation programs, or a related field.
• Experience working with major events, sports properties, or large-scale community initiatives is preferred. Familiarity with the South Florida market and cultural landscape is a plus.
