Volunteers are the heartbeat of FIFA events. FIFA World Cup 26™ volunteers will be part of a once-in-a-generation team – helping bring to life a tournament uniting three countries, 16 Host Cities and billions of hearts around the world.
The FIFA volunteer process includes applying, interviews, attending a group recruitment event, accepting your role, confirming shifts, completing your training, receiving your accreditation and uniform, and lastly, being part of delivering a world-class event.

Can I apply if I have accessibility needs?
Absolutely! FIFA is committed to ensuring that all volunteers have the support they need. During your application, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us about any specific requirements, and we’ll work with you to ensure an accessible and inclusive experience.
Will I be paid as a volunteer?
Volunteering for FIFA World Cup 26™ Miami City is unpaid, but the experience you’ll gain is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! From making lifelong friends to developing new skills and being part of something bigger, it’s a chance to create lasting memories.
What is the time commitment?
As part of the volunteer program, volunteers have been asked to commit to a minimum of 8 volunteer shifts, with each shift lasting 4-6 hours. Volunteers will be able to schedule their shifts to suit their availability.
Will there be training? What will the training look like?
All volunteers will be offered Role Specific Training and Venue Specific Training. Local and regional volunteers will have the opportunity to attend in person at the Volunteer Center. In addition, volunteers will be invited to Venue Specific Training in late May or early June at the site where you will complete your volunteer shifts during the tournament. There will also be training modules offered online via the Volunteer Portal.

Do I need to speak other languages?
English is the official language of the FIFA tournament but speaking other languages is a bonus.
Can I apply for more than one volunteer role?
As part of your application, you shared your desired role areas. We’ll do our best to offer a role aligned with your skills; however, this cannot be guaranteed.
Do I receive a volunteer uniform?
Yes, you will receive a multi-piece uniform that you can keep after your assignment! Further information on the process will follow soon. 
Will travel costs be covered?
During the event, there will be access to transportation, which you can use during your assignment to travel flexibly.
