Tom Garfinkel

Vice Chairman, President & CEO

Tom Garfinkel is the Vice Chairman, President, and CEO of the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, and Managing Partner of the Formula 1 Crypto.Com Miami Grand Prix. Since his hire in 2013, Garfinkel has led the business turnaround of the Dolphins and the renovation of Hard Rock Stadium into a global entertainment destination. Under his tenure, the stadium has hosted the highest grossing soccer match in US history, the Super Bowl, the College Football National Championship, Rolling Loud festivals, and other world-renowned events.

The organization also secured long-term commitments for the Miami Open tennis tournament and the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix and will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Under Garfinkel’s leadership, the organization has also been a model for community impact, including turning the Dolphins Challenge Cancer (DCC) into the largest annual fundraiser in the NFL and establishing Football Unites, Junior Dolphins and the Community Restaurant Program as industry examples for effective community programs. Garfinkel serves on the board of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, the National Football Foundation, and the Sports Management Advisory Board and Ross School of Business Advisory Board at the University of Michigan.
