Being the only waterfront festival across the entire World Cup comes with great pride — and great responsibility.
For months, FIFA Fan Festival Miami has been building a comprehensive sustainability program for the event, consisting of over 40 initiatives aimed at reducing waste and environmental impact, while helping visitors to the beautiful Bayfront Park learn how they can protect the park, Biscayne Bay and the local community.

Join Our Sustainability Efforts
Prevent Pollution & Reduce Waste
- Keep Miami and Bayfront Park Beautiful by never littering
- Look for our #KeepMiamiBeautiful signs and post a photo with the hashtag
- Always sort materials into appropriate bins for recycling, compost and landfill
- Do not bring items that easily become litter: No confetti, streamers or glitter, please!
- If you choose not to take your reusable souvenir cup home with you, please bring it back to the bar or deposit it into green reuse bins for washing.
- Bring your empty water bottle for free water refills
Protect Our Climate & Environment
- Use low carbon transit options like MetroMover, Brightline or Uber Shuttles.
- Always respect trees, vegetation, wildlife, protective barriers and fencing.
- Choose plant-based food options when you can
- Visit our chill zones and water refill stations to stay cool and hydrated
- Ask for help from a nearby firefighter, medic, police officer or volunteer if you’re feeling unwell or overheated
